We need two types of people: bloggers and good old-fashioned activists. If you’re a blogger, you can help by posting our videos on your blog. If you actually want to become part of The 35 Percenters, you have to agree to post EVERY video on your blog as it comes out. In exchange, you’ll be linked in the video description of each following video and in the participants roll of this site.
If you don’t have a blog then you can help in a different way by being an activist. Activists are the driving force of this campaign, and your importance as an activist can not be overstated. We need you to rate our videos, subscribe to our channel on YouTube, leave comments, and generally spread the word to your friends and family. For those of you with video cameras, we strongly encourage and appreciate YouTube video responses. If you belong to MySpace, we need you to post our videos on your profile, or as comments on other people’s pages.
In addition to the above suggestions, we also need activists to request that popular blogs join The 35 Percenters. Since the mainstream media has decided to ignore Dennis, the only hope he has is for the progressive and independent-minded blogosphere to give him coverage. If Kucinich gains in popularity on the internet the mainstream media will be forced to take notice. Ask your favorite bloggers why they don’t back the most progressive candidate by joining this movement.
